Dopamine Chamber (Exclusive Cassette)

Fontaines D.C. will release their fifth studio album, Dopamine Chamber, on October 16, 2026, via XL Recordings. Produced by James Ford, the record follows their acclaimed 2024 album Romance, which helped establish the Dublin five-piece as one of the world’s leading alternative rock bands.

Romance debuted at No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart and was later certified platinum. It also became Fontaines D.C.’s first album to enter the Billboard 200. The record earned two GRAMMY nominations, including Best Rock Album, and helped the band win International Group of the Year at the 2025 BRIT Awards. It also received the Album Award at the Rolling Stone UK Awards and was shortlisted for both the Mercury Prize and Ireland’s Choice Music Prize.

Led by the single “Marianne,” Dopamine Chamber explores desire, pleasure and uncertainty through brooding ballads, atmospheric melodies and a colder, more synthetic evolution of the band’s sound. The single is accompanied by a music video directed by Dave Meyers, known for his work on Kendrick Lamar’s “HUMBLE.” and Travis Scott’s “SICKO MODE.”

The album’s title reflects the idea of a record as a room that listeners can enter. According to frontman Grian Chatten, each song offers a different mood-altering experience, making Dopamine Chamber an immersive new chapter in Fontaines D.C.’s discography.
